However, it is another thing to create a plan that not only provides direction, but is implemented and monitored on an ongoing basis to provide maximum value.
Generally Strategic Plans are used to manage the company internally and Business Plans are used to approach outside sources when raising capital. These plans provide: mission statements, goal setting, strategies, and most importantly, an implementation and monitoring procedure.
